Happy Halloween from Arcadiam Games!

With the end of October nearing, new product releases are just beginning. The CrossRoads of Eternity Omnibus #1 is now available for download in PDF format and print on demand format via Internet mail order. Our products are available through many new venues and new conventions are quickly approaching. The Nature of Magic progress goes quite well, and looks good for our January release deadline. More information on all these items and more follows in this newsletter.




The World of Magic comes to life in The Nature of Magic companion book for the core rule book which is under development. This magic intensive supplement is now weighing in at 242 pages at this point and is expected to take on more volume before its completion. It also promises to massively enhance the possibilities for the realm of magic.

New material planned or addition to the NOM lineup:
  • New white witch trade which is to be called "Guardian"
  • Magical Bestiary giving greater depth of information about magical creatures of all types and more information about the various kinds of undead creatures at the disposil and beckon call of the Necromancer
  • Addition of bard musical magic is also a distinct possibility if our deadline allows. If not it will be added in an issue of Omnibus at a later date.

CROE CAM is online
Play reports where people can read the transcript of how a game plays out, reading about all the nuances in the game story and the functionality of the system has always been one of the best ways of assessing what a game system is like, short of playing a demo or buying the game and chancing it. Arcadiam Games takes this favorite method of system assessment to a whole new level with the CROE CAM. Every Saturday night after 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time, the Arcadiam Games development team along with some of their friends, gather for their weekly play test and general fun gaming session. Now you can tune in live every week and see our game session unfold, view the system in action, and see what a bunch of idiots we can really be when we let loose and have some fun. The cam runs LIVE along side our chat room, which you can also log into and comment during the game. This is a true and comprehensive look at how the system works and how our game group functions, without the risk of watering down a transcript or editing material out for content and time. The CrossRoads of Eternity Omnibus issue #1
Arcadiam Games has begun supplementation of their core product, The CrossRoads of Eternity RPG Core Rule Book, with the release of the first issue in an ongoing series of supplemental books entitled The CrossRoads Omnibus These magazine style, 32 page books contain a massive array of new material to supplement the game system, new material to expand the storyline, as well as a wide range of material geared an enhancing the role playing experience in general, with articles and stories concerning the gaming system specifically, and the gaming industry in general. The first issue is a general supplementation issue. While others are geared towards specific topics such as werewolves, Nosferatu history, the undead, Religion and Dieties, and many more specific topics, the general supplementation issues will cover a wide gamut of the game. We have condensed information from the spell caster spell sheet to fit onto the condensed primary character sheet, so that early to mid level spell casters can more readily see all their information without having to switch between multiple pages. This character sheet is available for download for free on our website along with the other character sheets in the pack.


CROE Tryout Kit
Once again we invite you to try out our basic tryout kit which gives you all of the essential rules needed to understand and play our system. Additionally you can use material from the CrossRoads Omnibus to expand on this material to see how truly modular the CrossRoads system really is. This PDF download is free and we welcome your feedback and questions on our forum.
